Non-Payment Of Salaries: Municipal workers protest

MULTAN: Hundreds of Municipal workers of Multan on Thursday staged a protest demonstration on Thursday against non-payment of salaries. A protest organised by the Municipal Employees Welfare Union was led by CBA Union President Riaz Khakwani. The protesters blocked Katchery Chowk for several hours, causing a sever traffic jam on the road. They threatened with suspension of sanitation work across the city in case the salaries were not paid.
