Ex-police chief Durrani laid to rest

LAHORE:

Former Inspector General of Police (IGP) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani was laid to rest with state protocol in the Defense Phase-7 cemetery whereas his funeral prayers were offered at the Police Training Centre on Baidian Road.

Governor Punjab, IG Punjab, family members of former IG Nasir Durrani, senior in-service and retired police and civil officers, and notables from the civil society attended the funeral.

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar along with other senior police laid flowers wreath on the grave of Nasir Khan Durrani and offered fateha for the departed soul. A contingent of police also paid guard of honor to the deceased top cop.
