Another 116 people from Faisalabad region who were accused of disturbing the peace of the city were detained for three months. Faisalabad police detained further 114 people who blocked the road in protest and resisted the police. 113 out of 114 people were locked up in Central Jail Faisalabad and one in District Jail. In Jhang, two more persons were detained for three months under three MPOs. Two days ago, 48 people were detained by Faisalabad police, 58 by Jhang and 28 by Toba. A total of 248 persons in Faisalabad region have been detained for three months in the light of orders issued by the concerned Deputy Commissioner.
