25% subsidy given on 13 essentials

District administration granted a subsidy of up to 25% on edible items goods provided in Ramazan bazaars

MULTAN:

On the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, the district administration granted a subsidy up to 25% on 13 edible items goods provided in Ramazan bazaars.

Deputy Commissioner Ali Shehzad set up fair price shops at 11 Ramazan bazaars set up across the district on Tuesday.

All oil mills were providing ghee at stalls of the said bazaars worth Rs15 less as compared to the open market.

Sugar was being offered at Rs65 while flour bag of 10 kgs was being sold at Rs375.

All fair price shops were providing subsidy on potatoes at Rs11 per kg.

Around Rs30 per kg subsidy was offered on pulses while Rs13 per kg was offered on gram flour (besan) provided at fair price shops.

In addition to this, other edibles would also be available on relatively lesser rates as compared to what was available in common markets.

AC City Khwaja Umair paid visit at Ramazan Bazaars to review the arrangements and directed authorities concerned to expedite supply of sugar, flour and poultry items at the concessional goods points.
