Pindi police arrest nine petty criminals

RAWALPINDI:

The Rawalpindi police booked suspects involved in robberies, drug selling, and possession of unlicenced firearms on Sunday, a spokesperson said.

Ratta Amral SHO conducted a raid and arrested two members of Shakila gang while the police recovered Rs25,000, three stolen motorcycles, and two pistols from their possession. The SHO said that the suspects had confessed to committing several robberies and had been sent to jail.

Kotli Sattiyan police conducted a raid and detained a drug peddler, Amraiz Akhtar. The police recovered 1.3kgs of hashish from the suspect and a case was registered against him under the drug act.

Naseerabad police arrested Muhammad Faizan who was nominated in an aerial firing case. The police recovered a pistol from his possession.

Moreover, Taxila police recovered 300 grams of narcotics from Hakeem Gul while Sadiqbaad police recovered five litres of liquor from Amjad Khaliq.
