Rohilanwali police raided a wedding function at Basti Wazirabad and foiled an attempt to marry off an underage couple on Sunday.
According to the police report, the 15-year old groom, Ameer Hamza was about to tie the knot with the 13-year-old bride.
A police team on receiving information arrived at the wedding ceremony and stopped it in the presence of guests.
Police arrested three people including the groom.
