Three ‘commit suicide’ in city

LAHORE:

Three persons allegedly committed suicide in separate incidents in the city on Sunday.

A woman shot herself dead due to unknown reasons in Nawan Kot. Police said the woman identified as Maryam Bibi, a resident of Band Road, and her sister, were married to two brothers six months ago.

Maryam’s marital relationship reportedly had soured and she had been staying at her parent’s house for the past two months.

Separately, a teenage girl reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself in Lohari Gate.

The victim identified as Mahnoor, 19, on the day of the incident locked herself in a room and hanged herself to death. Police shifted the body to a morgue. Moreover, man committed suicide by shooting himself over financial issues in Gulberg.
