The members of the Balochistan Assembly believe that the creation of new provinces will pose a serious threat to Pakistan's internal security.

Raising a point of order during a provincial assembly session on Thursday, Pakistan Muslim League- Quaid (PML-Q) member Shiekh Jafar Khan Mandokhel said that the new provinces will open a pandora box of problems for the country.

He said that the issue will not remain confined to Punjab and similar demands will also be raised for the division of other provinces.

Mandokhel further warned that Sindh will suffer if it was divided into separate provinces.

Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) minister retired Captain Abdul Khaliq said that the creation of provinces on ethnic basis will be very dangerous for the country.

However, Aianullah Shams of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F) suggested a comprehensive dialogue for creation of new provinces.

Also, provincial ministers Mir Shah Nawaz Marri and Mir Zahoor Buledi expressed their serious concern over law and order in Balochistan.
