Jannat Mirza set for Lollywood debut with ‘Tere Bajre Di Rakhi’

Upcoming Punjabi film is slated to release on Eidul Fitr

Social media sensation, Jannat Mirza is all set to take over the silver screen with her upcoming acting debut in the Lollywood film, Tere Bajre Di Rakhi. The TikTok-famed star will be seen in a lead role alongside actors Iftikhar Thakur, Saima Saleem, Agha Majid and Saleem Albela, reported Express News.

A local magazine was among the first to break the news with the film’s poster. Mirza was also seen promoting the project online. The 23-year-old has more than 10M followers on her social media handles including TikTok, from where she first catapulted to fame.

Helmed by filmmaker Syed Noor, Tere Bajre Di Rakhi will be Mirza’s first Punjabi project. Other big names such as Rashid Mahmood, Shafqat Cheema, Babar Ali, Khushboo, Irfan Khost, Mustafa Qureshi, and Saima will also feature in the film, which is slated to release on Eidul Fitr this year.

On the other hand, Mirza also responded to the negative feedback on the film’s poster, stating that people should not discourage others and must appreciate their efforts. She concluded with how everyone has put their all into the film in the hopes that audiences like it.
