CDA evicts encroachers from Sector D-12

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) administration thwarted a bid to set up encroachment and cleared government of squatters in Sector D-12.

According to a statement issued on Sunday, CDA received a complaint that a huge slum is being set up in Sector D-12 Service road North by occupying a large amount of valuable land worth billions of rupees.

The management of CDA took immediate action on the aforesaid information and warned the owners of the huts to immediately demolish the said huts themselves or else carry out an operation from the house of this institution.

However, when the CDA teams reached the spot for the operation yesterday, the illegal occupants demolished encroachment on more than 70 kanals on their own. Due to timely action of the CDA administration, more than 50 kanals of government land has been vacated.

Plots auction

CDA will auction of 29 commercial plots from March 29 to 31, at Jinnah Convention Centre.

Five sub-sectors sealed amid rise in Covid cases

The commercial plots of sector D-12, G-6, G-10, G-11, G-8, Blue Area, I-8, F-8, F-11, I-12and other developed sectors will be presented for auction. Plots of five star hotels, apartment hospitals, and petrol pumps are also included in the auction which would be presented for auction.

CDA has presented the plots in developed sectors for auction to provide the best opportunities of investment. The authority has devised a special team to facilitate and guide the investors in this regard. Brochures of plots for auction are available at one window Directorate and in the branches of selected bank. CDA has also given an option of online buying of these brochures. Auction committee has decided to give 10% discount to those who would pay amount within 30 days of their successful bids. The committee has issued directions for the approval of building plan after the payment of first installment. However, the investor will be given permission of construction on plot only when he would pay whole price of plot. Investors who would successfully get the approval of map before June 30 will be eligible to get benefit from Prime Minister Relief package
