Theft: One brother killed, one injured

Thieves accidentally alerted the women in the house who were preparing Sehri.

NAUDERO: A villager was killed in Nao Goth village, said Naundero police. Some thieves, while trying to make their way into the house of Irshad Soomro, accidentally alerted the women in the house who were preparing Sehri. When he heard the ruckus, Irshad went out to catch the men trying to enter. The culprits opened fire. Irshad’s brother Papoo rushed out with his gun and he was also injured. They were rushed to Chandka Medical College Hospital, Larkana where Irshad Soomro, 40, was pronounced dead and the condition of his younger brother is stated to be serious.
