Superstar Mahira Khan has been announced as Peshawar Zalmi’s brand ambassador for Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six, stated a press release. The 36-year-old will be the team's representative for the third time, after a successful season three and four. Khan had also appeared in Zalmi’s anthem Hum Zalmi for season four.
Javed Afridi, chairman of Peshawar Zalmi announced the news on Twitter, welcoming the Humsafar actor to the crew.
The artist line up for season six amplifies the event. This year, the list includes Groove Mera singers Aima Baig, Naseebo Lal and Young Stunners who will be joined by celebrated star Atif Aslam, actor Humaima Malick and singer Imran Khan.
Earlier, it was reported that Ali Zafar will also perform at the opening ceremony. However, clarifying the matter, the Ab Khel Jamega crooner shared on Twitter that he will not be doing so.
