Rawat grid station closes for a day In Islamabad

Grid station will close down from 9am to 5pm on Saturday (today) for annual maintenance

ISLAMABAD:

The Rawat grid station will close down from 9am to 5pm on Saturday (today) for annual maintenance, said the spokesman of the National Transmission and Despatch Company Ltd (NTDC).

Subsequently, due to maintenance work on 132kV bus bar at 500kV grid station, partial load management will be observed from 9am to 5pm on 132kV grid stations and 11kV feeders of Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) if required.

The spokesman said that these grid stations and feeders include Gujjar Khan, Jatli, Padshahan, Chakwal, KTM, Ranial, Bakra Mandi, Soan, Chaklala Cantt, MES, Kalar Syyedan, Kahuta, Bahria Town and Al-Aziz.

The 132kV grid stations of Rawat and Dina will remain completely closed along with their relevant feeders.

The annual maintenance of bus bar at Rawat will result in a smooth and uninterrupted power supply and facilitate consumers.
