Two arrested in fake police recruitment case

Five cops also found guilty in sending their staff in place of candidates for medical fitness

Police claimed to have arrested two suspects for their involvement in fake recruitments in the police department.

As per the details, a 14-member gang had been operating in Faisalabad. Five police personnel were also involved in this recruitment scam who had sent their own staff in place of the candidates for medical and written tests.

While investigating the matter, police officers registered cases against the named suspects and also arrested two of them.

CPO Sohail Chaudhry suspended the five police per- sonnel, including a Dolphin Squad personnel involved in the gang and appointed SSP Operation as Inquiry Officer.

Police report revealed that during the second phase of the recruitment process in Faisalabad police, the body measurement of the candidates was going on in Tariq Mujahid Police Lines.

Meanwhile, Azhar Ali, the son of Allah Yar and a resident of 432GB, came to Booth No 8 in place of Owais Ali, the son of Abdul Sattar and a resi- dent of 39GB, after changing the picture on the slip.
