CDA generates over Rs32m in January

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has generated revenue of Rs32.27 million during the month of January through completion certificates of commercial and residential buildings, building plans and No Objection Certificates (NOC), a spokesperson shared on Tuesday.

The BCS department of CDA received a total of nine cases of completion certificates of residential buildings during January, he maintained, adding that all the cases have been issued completion certificates through which CDA collected Rs493,985.

The official mentioned that no application was received for the completion certificates of commercial buildings, however, the department received cases of four commercial buildings regarding the approval of plans through which the authority collected Rs14,516,994.

He added that 11 cases of residential building plans were received which generated a revenue of Rs349,800 while 44 cases of approval of NOCs for the construction of additional stories in commercial buildings were received through which Rs14,196,240 was generated.

Furthermore, 61 cases of NOC approvals for the construction of additional stories in residential buildings were received through which Rs1,462,996 was generated while the authority also generated Rs1,251,000 through two cases of Non-Conforming Use (NCU) fine of residential buildings.
