Victim repeatedly stalked locality of first wife’s family despite being warned

The genitals of a man were allegedly mutilated in an attack near Mianwali on Tuesday.

Police said the young man was assaulted in Kalabagh area.

The victim, a resident of Gharibabad, was married for the second time in three years. He had a son from his first marriage and later developed a relationship with another woman, whom he married by his own choice in Kalabagh.

Last year, after the victim married for the second time, he reconciled twice with his first wife, on the condition that he would not visit or go anywhere near the locality of her family. However, the victim would repeatedly stalk the locality of his in-laws from first marriage.

Reportedly, the victim threw a ball at his in-laws, as a result of which his conflict with them aggravated.

In a fit of rage, members of his first wife’s family grabbed the man and allegedly chopped off his genitals.

After the victim was assaulted, Kalabagh police reached the spot and recorded the man’s statement.

The victim was shifted to Kalabagh Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in a critical condition.

In a similar incident on January 30, a woman along with her accomplices allegedly cut off the genitals of a youth in Nemat Town, Dijkot.

The accused Jamila Bibi alias Gogi, a resident of Nemat Town, had allegedly lured the youth into having relations with her.

However, the 20-year-old man refused to do so.

After the victim’s refusal, the enraged woman allegedly grabbed the young man and, with the help of her unidentified armed accomplices, took him to a barnyard.

The accused allegedly stripped the young man and cut off his genitals. They also attempted to kill the youth with a razor.

On hearing his screams, the victim’s brother Omar Ali ran towards the barnyard. After the accused saw him, they threatened them with their weapons and fled.

On September 15 last year, a woman cut off the genitals of her ‘lover’ in Lahore’s Harbanspura area.

The suspect was reportedly enraged over the victim trying to blackmail and harass her.

The 37-year-old resident of the Vehari district had moved to Lahore six months earlier for work. He had a tryst with the woman, who also lived in the same area, for the last 18 years.

The woman had called him over to her place. She attacked him with a sharp weapon and slashed his genitals. After this, the accused locked him in a room and left him there.

On February 3 last year, a man was knifed in his genitalia reportedly after being honey-trapped by his spurned lover a day before his wedding ceremony in Jaranwala, Faisalabad.
