Chinji National Park inauguration on January 25

The inauguration ceremony of Punjab’s first wildlife National Park, Chinji National Park, will be held on January 25.

The park will be open to the public on soon after inauguration and preparations for the inauguration ceremony are being final touches.

Adviser to the Prime Minister on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam and Provincial Forest Minister will inaugurate Chinji National Park. The five-century old dense forest is located at the confluence of Chakwal and Attock districts of Rawalpindi Division. Chinji National Park is spread over an area of 10,052 acres while it has three mini dams and ponds. They are made for the breeding of water birds and fish.
