Independence Day: Renovation work starts on Quaid’s tomb

KARACHI: Preparations to celebrate Independence Day began Tuesday. Renovation work on Quaid-e-Azam’s tomb is under way, such as the polishing of the marble stairs, floor and metal grilles. Workers are also cleaning the fountains. The task will be completed in two days, just in time for August 14.
