Three brothers were shot and injured by their rival group over a petty issue in Saddar Bairuni area on Tuesday.


The police said that Zaman, Abdul Waheed and Muhammad Ameen were at their shop in Munawar Colony area of Adiala when Nasir and his accomplices arrived there and opened fire at them.

The three brothers received bullet injuries and were taken to the hospital. The police said Ameen had a clash with Nasir in the morning over a petty issue.

The issue had been resolved among them. In the evening, however, Nasir again visited the area along with his accomplices and started firing at the brothers.

Resultantly, the three brothers received multiple bullet injuries. The police registered a case and started investigation.

Meanwhile, Iram lodged a report with the Saddar Bairuni police that she was going for shopping when two armed motorcyclists intercepted her and snatched her handbag containing Rs15,000 cash, gold ornaments and other valuables at gunpoint and fled. The police registered a case.
