Following the footsteps of the past governments for political appointments on key posts, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) regime has appointed party leader Haroon Kamal Hashmi as vice chairman of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA).
Earlier, PTI leader Tariq Mehmood Murtuza was appointed RDA chairman and Asif Mehmood was made chairman of Parks and Horticulture Authority, while Malik Abid Hussain was appointed as PHA vice-chairman.
Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering secretary has issued a notification for the appointment of Haroon Kamal Hashmi as an RDA member and vice-chairman.
