Each year, there are some colours that shone more prominently as compared to others. In fact, every season can have its own ‘it’ colour too. This is not only limited to clothing but also hair and makeup as trends keep shifting from celebrity to celebrity, season to season.
In the current winter season, while Hollywood flaunts browns, reds and neutral hues of all sorts, our very own stars have taken the trend to the next level: tangerine. From Mawra Hocane to Hania Amir, we’ve been spotting orange-y outfits throughout wedding season. Here are few starlets who have rocked tangerine this winter.
Mawra Hocane
Taking extravaganza and glam to next level, the Sabaat actor looked great at her best friend’s wedding carrying almost every style ever so graciously. The look that caught our eyes was Hocane’s tangerine ensemble by Faiza Saqlain that seems to be actor’s go-to brand for desi wear. Fitting the occasion, the tangerine gharara was embellished with same colour sequins and gota-work whereas, the shirt featured marori and kora dabka handwork with magenta embroidery on the sleeves and neckline. The actor paired the look with center parted styled hair, light makeup and traditional jewellery.
Hania Amir
The Anaa actor is not only known for her skills and social media presence but, for a keen eye for fashion. This season, Amir was spotted wearing a Nomi Ansari ensemble with the same colour palette but a little more rustic that complimented the embellishment on the pants and shirt. The detailing included sequins, scarlet embroidery and marori and zardozi handwork. She completed the look with a sleek hairstyle and simple makeup.
Aainat Khalid
A blogger by profession, Aainat Khalid flaunted this classic saree in rust hues, embellished with sheesha (mirror) work and zardozi on the neckline and sleeves. The starlet paired the two-toned number with some marigolds in her hair and simple makeup on the go. With almost 400k followers, the influencer surely knows how to carry desi formals with class.
