A suspect involved in the killing of a five-year-old boy during a robbery has been arrested in an alleged police encounter in the jurisdiction of Rawat police station.
According to police, while patrolling in a private housing society, they signaled a motorcycle with three riders to stop for checking. However, they opened fire at the police.
The police retaliated as a result of which one of the suspects got injured and arrested while the other two rode away. A police spokesman said that it has been learnt that the arrested suspect was also involved in the killing of a five-year-old boy who had been shot dead during a robbery a few days ago.
