Celebrated American fashion designer Alexander Wang has been accused of sexual assault by a number of models, reported People. The courtier is known for dressing the likes of Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Behati Prinsloo and others.

The controversy kicked off Monday after Diet Prada picked up on a post by S–t Model Mgmt, which read, “Alexander Wang is an alleged sexual predator, many male models and trans models have come out and spoken about the alleged sexual abuse that Alexander Wang has inflicted upon them. It is important to show your support to these victims by unfollowing Alexander Wang and boycotting his clothing line.”

In the same post, the Instagram account declared, "Alexander Wang has been accused of sexual assault for a few years now. Instead of letting these occurrences be swept under the rug, it is time to do something about this. Please unfollow Alexander Wang to show your support to the victims."

Model Owen Mooney had stepped forth in one of the videos posted, where he recalled an incident at a club in 2017 in New York when he met Wang who went on to inappropriately touch him in the midst of the crowd.

"I was by myself at one point and this guy next to me obviously took advantage of the fact that no one could move and he just started like, touching me up,” he said. “I looked to my left to see who it was and it was this really famous fashion designer. Like, I couldn't believe that he was doing that to me. It made me go into even more shock."

While Mooney didn't name Wang in the first TikTok video, he did name the latter in the next one.

"This comment surprised me just because they actually got it right," Mooney said about a commenter who called out Wang. "Turns out Alexander Wang is a massive sexual predator," the model concluded, "and there's been a load of other people that he's done this to. So in that case, he needs to be exposed."

The representatives for Wang's brand declined for comment to InStyle and WWD, and no third party has come forward to confirm, or contest, Mooney’s account.
