In a crackdown against criminal elements, the Rawalpindi police busted a bike-lifting gang and arrested two of its members while recovering stolen motorbikes, Rs43,000 cash and spare parts of motorcycles from their possession, a spokesperson shared on Tuesday.
He said that a team conducted a raid and managed to apprehend the bike lifters, adding that as per police records, the criminals were also involved in other crimes.
He assured that other members of the bike-lifting gang will also be arrested following preliminary investigations with the detained culprits.
The superintendent of police of Rawal Division lauded the team's performance over arresting the bike lifters.
