IIA gets two hand sanitisers

The machines have been installed in two different locations in the international arrival lounge

Two hand sanitising machines have been installed in the international arrival lounge of Islamabad International Airport (IIA), officials said on Saturday.

The machines have been installed in two different locations in the international arrival lounge of the airport as part of preventative measures to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

The measure has been taken to ascertain that passengers and the people coming to receives them to sanitise their hands, IIA Manager Muhammad Adnan told The Express Tribune that the hand sanitising machines have been provided by the World Health Organization (WHO).

He added that the installation of machines has resulted in the improvement of provision of facilities during the pandemic situation.

Moreover, sources in the aviation division told that automatic hand sanitiser machines would be installed in all major airports across the country.
