Man, wife held for beating child maid

FAISALABAD:

Police claimed to have arrested a man and his wife over beating a minor girl on Saturday.
Reportedly, the victim worked as a maid at a home located in Eden Valley Society.

Police said 11-year-old Sadaf was playing with children in the street when some issue developed among them.

Meanwhile, the father of the children Rana Munir Haider and his wife came out from their home and started beating the minor girl.

On the report of Faisalabad Child Protection Officer Samina Nadir, police had registered a case against Rana Munir and his wife Samina Munir. Police arrested the accused. Later, Sadaf was handed over to her parents by the Child Protection Bureau.
