'Tom and Jerry' trailer brings your favourite frenemies to the real world

Partially animated, the Warner Bros. film is slated to hit theatres in 2021

Tom and Jerry are back, and this time, they are wreaking havoc in one of the oldest hotels of New York, according to the Indian Express.

The trailer of the upcoming Tom and Jerry film is out, and it's making us nostalgic with the same old cat-and-mouse chase in a new fashion.

Partially animated, the film shows the animated cartoon characters in the real world, as we are introduced to the plot of the film.

The trailer starts off by showing the two ending up in New York, following which Jerry decides to stay in a hotel which is throwing the “wedding of the century.”

Naturally, after acknowledging Jerry's presence, the hotel staff wants to get rid of the "mouse problem" so they bring in a cat who happens to be Tom, of course, and the hilarity ensues.

The film stars Chloe Grace Moretz, Michael Pena, Rob Delaney, Colin Jost, and Ken Jeong.

The Warner Bros. film is slated to hit theatres in 2021.
