One of Bollywood's most loved couples - if not the most - rejoiced over the weekend for not one but two special occasions: their second wedding anniversary and Diwali.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, the couple decided to stay home and have a low-key celebration of the festive season. However, they did give a sneak peek into their special day. The Simmba star donned a bright orange kurta, whereas his better-half looked stunning in a red and gold saree with a bold red lip.
Wishing their fans with a happy picture, the couple wrote, "Happy Diwali! Love and light to all!" Now, DeepVeer's fans have used the famous Indian sweets meme to compare their Diwali outfits.
While fans compared Ranveer to Motichoor Ladoo, Deepika's look was equated to Gajar Ka Halwa. The couple laughed heartily in their original picture and this fan-made meme will also crack you up. Sharing the meme, Deepika seemed to agree with her fans as she wrote, "Sure, why not?"
Earlier, taking to Instagram, the couple shared so-in-love pictures with each other, penning adorable captions! Clad in what seems like Sabyasachi outfits, and embraced in a hug, Ranveer wrote, "Souls eternally intertwined. Happy second anniversary."
The Om Shaanti Om star, on the other hand, took to social media and shared some pictures with the caption, "Two peas in a pod. Happy 2nd Anniversary Ranveer Singh. You complete me."
Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in an extravagant affair in 2018.
