Sanitation staff get appreciation

WASA workers did not only work in their jurisdictions but also in the CDA jurisdiction

Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) organised a ceremony to distribute appreciation certificates to 36 workers over their performance during the monsoon season.

Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Chairman Tariq Murtaza said that 20 per cent more rainfall was recorded in Rawalpindi this year than the previous.

He said that WASA workers did not only work in their jurisdictions but also in the Capital Development Authority (CDA) jurisdiction.

Murtaza assured of communicating the WASA employees demands to the Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. WASA workers are our family and resolution of their issues was a priority, RDA chairman said.
