PESHAWAR:

As a second wave of the novel coronavirus hits the province, the provincial government on Monday directed strict compliance with its notified instructions for stopping the spread of the pandemic virus.

The decision was taken in pursuance of the directives of the National Command Operation Center (NCOC) and keeping in view the trends surrounding the rapid increase in novel coronavirus (Covid19) cases.

A notification issued on Monday said that instructions for the ‘No facemask, no entry’ shall be strictly observed by all the officials and visitors. The entry of visitors to all government offices shall be restricted and they should be provided with the opportunity to discuss the matters via telephone and may be allowed entry, if essential.

It further directed the public office to ensure the minimum presence of staff to perform important tasks while those having health issues shall work from homes.
