After joining Netflix in France at the beginning of the year, Studio Ghibli is now moving to Paris for a short time, according to Vogue France.

For the fifth consecutive year, distributor SEMIC is organising a space entirely dedicated to the universe of Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata. Thus, from Howl's Moving Castle to Spirited Away, it’s time to revisit all the classics no longer presented in this exclusive pop-up store.

The global pandemic may have prevented many things, but thankfully it could not come in the way of the Château Ephémère that will be opening its pop-up store dedicated to Studio Ghibli. Like year for the past five years, the boutique will take fans of Japan and Japanese animation on a visual voyage to the poetic universe of Hayao Miyazaki.

From October 24 to December 24, the Château Éphémère will feature an 80m2 space at 117 rue de Turenne, in the third arrondissement of Paris.  Seems like the perfect place for Christmas or new year shopping, or to simply enjoy as The Château Ephémère, which promises a rich selection of products.

From Totoro to Hauru to Chihiro, all of the key characters in the universe of Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata will be represented. Tableware, home accessories, jewelry and bags inspired by animated films - imported directly from Japan - will be available for sale.

Last year, SEMIC dedicated this pop-up store to the thirtieth anniversary of the feature film Kiki's Delivery Service. This year, however, the theme will revolve around the Whisper of her heart, for its 25 anniversary.

Although the film is less known, but directed by Studio Ghibli, it is created by Yoshifumi Kondô, who previously worked on The Tomb of the FirefliesKikiThe Little Witch Academia and the very famous Princess Mononoke

The animator Hayao Miyazaki considers him to be one of his heirs.
