Police gear up for second virus peak

The second possible wave of Covid-19 had also alerted Lahore police. During the 1st virus peak, the police had played the role of frontline workers due to which preparations were underway for a possible 2nd virus peak as well. Lahore DIG Operations Ashfaq Ahmad Khan said that the entry of police personnel without masks had been banned in all Police Lines in Lahore. Police were also providing masks to the complainants entering police offices as well as checking their body temperature with a thermal gun. SP Headquarters Jamil Zafar said that entry of all employees outside Police Lines was being ensured through the sanitiser walkthrough gates.
