Hazrat Mian Mir Urs to start on 25th

LAHORE:

The 397th Urs of Hazrat Mian Mir will begin on October 25 under the auspices of Punjab Auqaf Department.

The said department’s Minister Syed Saeedul Hassan Shah will inaugurate the Urs celebrations after performing traditional chadar on Mazaar of the revered saint of the subcontinent.

The auqaf department had allocated Rs612,000 for holding the ceremonies and organising langar for devotees. Reportedly, religious and spiritual personalities across the country are expected to participate in the Urs.

The foolproof security arrangements had been made for visitors. Walkthrough gate, close circuit cameras and LCDs would be installed.
