To facilitate residents, a one-window operations centre opened at the offices of the Rawalpindi Development Authority on Tuesday.
The centre was inaugurated by the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Chairman Tariq Murtaza while other officers of the authority, including Director-General Ammara Khan, former RDA DG Nadeem Abro and others were present.
Murtaza said that his focus in RDA had always been to establish a modern, one-window operations centre to facilitate people so that they do not have to go to every office of the authority for their work.
Explaining the operations of the centre, the RDA chairman said that people will now only have to submit their applications at the one-window operations centre and get a copy of the order on their application from the same office.
The centre can help approve building maps, transfer of plot or any other work-related to RDA. Further, people can obtain updates about their applications.
“I am trying to make this process even better by introducing online facilities so that people will not have to visit the office and any inconvenience is avoided,” he added.
