Police nab alleged motorcycle thieves

The suspects were history sheeters who had been to jail multiple times

Nawan Kot Investigations police arrested two suspected members of an inter-district motorcycle lifters gang. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Iqbal Town Investigations SP Abdul Wahab stated that the arrested suspects had been identified as Zain alias Zaini and his accomplice Amir Ayub. The suspects confessed to committing crimes in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, Faisalabad and other districts, he added. The suspects would spot motorcycles parked outside homes and parking stands. They would use master-keys to unlock the locks for lifting purpose. The suspects would later sell spare parts to in scrap market on very cheap rates. At least 26 motorcycles lifted from different districts had been recovered from them. The suspects were history sheeters who had been to jail multiple times, the SP further claimed. Police were investigating the matter further.
