The suspect involved in targeted activities of snatching purses from girl students and women has been arrested by Investigations Police Muslim Town on Monday. The arrested suspect was identified as Akhtar alias Akhtari. Police said the suspect would conduct a recce of the places where girls and women could be made an easy target. He would snatch these things from them and would flee from the scene. Police have recovered the snatched gold ornaments, purse and mobile-phones from his custody. A case has been registered against the suspect. Police said they were investigating the matter further.
