Hazara police launch public contact drive

Another 52 meetings were held with the members of public liaison committees

Police have launched a “mass public contact campaign” in all the eight districts of the Hazara division.

Launched on the directives of Hazara DIG Qazi Jamilur Rehman, district police officers were directed to hold town halls and liaison meetings with ulemas, traders, and officials of educational institutions. In this regard, at least 53 khulli kucheries were held by the DPO’s across the region followed by 53 meetings with ulemas, 32 meetings with associations of traders, 10 meetings with minorities in different districts, and 45 meetings with the heads of educational institutions.

They were asked to join the police in resolving security, law and order issues and eradicate the evils and ills faced by students. Another 52 meetings were held with the members of public liaison committees.
