Minor drowns in canal

LAHORE:

A 12-year-old child was drowned in BRB Canal near Jallo Mor on Wednesday. Rescue 1122 officials said that a passerby spotted the victim falling into the canal. He called the Rescue 1122 teams. On receiving information, the rescuers reached the spot and launched the search and rescue operation from Jallo Mor towards Baseem. The Rescue 1122 divers and floating boats continued the operation while the identity of the victim was yet to be ascertained.
