69 police officers transferred

A total of nine police officers were surrendered before the establishment division

As many as 69 officers were transferred in another massive reshuffle in Punjab Police on Saturday. As per the directions issued by Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Inam Ghani, at least 68 DSPs and ASPs were transferred and posted across the province. Meanwhile, at least eight DIGs were also transferred and posted. DIG Muhammad Abid Khan was transferred and posted as Punjab DIG Patrolling Police, Sarfaraz Falki as Gujranwala CPO, Dr Inam Waheed as Deputy Commandant Punjab Constabulary, Imran Mehmood as Punjab DIG Traffic. Shariq Jamal as DIG Telecommunication and Munir Masood Marth as DIG Investigations Monitoring. A few days ago, at least 36 police officers were reshuffled inside the province. A total of nine police officers were surrendered before the establishment division and six DIGs from the establishment division were transferred to Punjab.
