Body recovered in Garhi Shahu

Police collected forensic evidences

LAHORE:

The body of a 40-year-old unidentified man had been recovered from Garhi Shahu on Friday. A passerby spotted the body and informed police.

A police team reached the spot on information and shifted the body to a morgue for autopsy. They also collected forensic evidences from the scene and recorded statements of the eyewitnesses.

As per circumstantial evidences, the victim may have been a drug addict and might have died because of excessive drug consumption.

However, autopsy and further investigations would help ascertain the exact cause of death. Police said that they were investigating the matter further.
