Nine power pilferers caught in Sargodha

Faisalabad Electricity Supply Company (FESCO) task force claimed to have arrested nine people on Wednesday involved in electricity theft.

Police officials said that a FESCO task team had conducted raids in different areas of Sargodha district including Sher Muhammadwala, Fateh Garh and Tartipur and caught another nine people red handed, who were allegedly involved in meter tampering and were stealing electricity from the main transmission lines.

The accused were identified as Saqlain, Sheraz, Mazhar, Hamid, Riaz, Pervaiz and Kamran. On the report of the FESCO authorities,’ police had registered separate cases against the power pilferers.
