Daycare centre opens at NAB

The purpose of building the daycare centre is to facilitate the working women

A daycare centre has been established at the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Lahore. It was inaugurated by Provincial Minister for Women Development Ashifa Riaz Fatyana. The centre has been built up by Day Care Association and NAB Lahore. The hostel is comprised of over four rooms, one kitchen, two bathrooms and the main hall which is fully furnished according to the needs and requirements of the children. Reportedly, a well-educated and experienced staff has been hired for the daycare centre who would look after the children of the female officers and officials during their duty hours, as per the NAB spokesperson. It has been stressed that the purpose of building the daycare centre is to facilitate the working women so that they can perform their professional duties as per merits and with full dedication, said Lahore NAB DG Saleem Shahzad. Fatyana appreciated the efforts of DG NAB for recognising the importance and needs of working women by establishing a dedicated daycare centre at NAB and also stated that these centres are not less than a blessing for working women. “Being a working woman, I know the importance of daycare centres for them,” said the minister.
