Man held for ‘abducting’ cousin

In a fit of rage, suspect hatched a plan to kidnap his five-year-old cousin

A young man was arrested for allegedly abducting his minor cousin over a dispute with his uncle in the city on Friday. Police officials said that the suspect identified as Usman quarreled with his uncle, exchanging harsh words with him. In a fit of rage, he hatched a plan to kidnap his five-year-old cousin. Reportedly, he kidnapped his cousin while he was playing outside his home. He took him to a house in Shadbagh. After the victim went missing, the family registered a kidnapping case against the unidentified suspect. Police conducted investigation and arrested the accused. Police officials added that they were investigating the matter further.
