AVLC arrests ‘motorcycle thieves’

Confiscate seven motorcycles and a bag of tools from the looters' possession

The Shah Faisal Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) arrested two alleged motorcycle thieves on Thursday, claiming to confiscate seven motorcycles and a bag of tools from their possession.

The arrested men were identified as Sameer and Zaheer, while their accomplice Irfan managed to escape from the scene. According to an AVLC statement, Irfan is a mechanic who dismantles stolen motorcycles and sells their parts to his customers.

The recovered motorcycles had reportedly been stolen from the jurisdictions of the Soldier Bazaar, Tipu Sultan, Khokrapar, Al-Falah and Saudabad police. Legal proceedings against the arrested men have been initiated.
