Man allegedly confessed to the crime during police questioning

Police have booked a man who allegedly killed his father-in-law over a property, separately two his siblings were also held for murdering their father. While investigating the murder of Muhammad Akram, the Pirwadhai police learnt that his son-in-law Muhammad Nasir had committed the crime over a property dispute.

Later, to avert police suspicion, the suspect had called the police emergency helpline 15 and informed them about the murder of the victim. However, during investigations, police learnt that the complainant was the murderer. He allegedly confessed to the crime during police questioning. In a separate incident, the Rawat police arrested two men along with their accomplice who had killed their father.

The suspects, including Muhammad Ikhlaq and Muhammad Abid along with the accomplice Javed Ahmed, had attacked the victim with axes and batons in the Nakarali village. The police are conducting raids to book the remaining suspects in the case.
