Man shot dead over old enmity

Police officials added that they were investigating the matter further

LAHORE:

A 38-year-old man was reportedly shot dead over old enmity in Factory Area the wee hours of Saturday. The victim had been identified as Manzoor Hussain. Police officials said that he was en route home when unidentified men intercepted him and opened fire. The victim fell down and sustained two serious bullet injuries. He was shifted to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced him as brought dead. A police team reached the crime scene on receiving information and shifted the body to a morgue for autopsy. They also collected forensic evidences from the crime scene and recorded statements of the eyewitnesses. Police officials added that they were investigating the matter further.
