Football academy inaugurated in Lyari

'The academy was the best gift for Lyari’s emerging male and female footballers'

The Coach Emad Football Academy was inaugurated in Sango Lane, Lyari, on Saturday. Former South district municipal corporation chairperson Malik Muhammad Fayyaz, who cut the ribbon, told the media that the academy was the best gift for Lyari’s emerging male and female footballers, and would help highlight new talent as well as hone their skills. Azfar Naqvi, the father of late Emad Syed Naqvi, said it was his son’s mission to bring forward Lyari’s hidden talent. “Emad could not make is possible in his life, but his dream will be fulfilled through this academy,” he added. He further thanked donors for assisting in the academy’s establishment through funds of Rs30 million.
