Three held for attacking polio team

The area police registered a case against the accused man

Cases were registered against three people including a woman for resisting a polio team as well as a court official on Friday.

A polio team reached the house of Muhammad Imran to vaccinate the children, the accused Imran misbehaved with a lady health worker. Later, he reportedly chased her and threatened to hit her with an iron rod.

The area police registered a case against the accused man.

Separately, in the case filed by Arif Iqbal, who was serving as an official in the court of civil judge, in Chak No 225RB, Saddar, the accused Wasim and Asiya Parveen insulted the complainant and allegedly tore his uniform.
