The Balochistan government on Tuesday announced that six technical training centers are being established at Quetta, Pishin, Panjgur, Sibi, Awaran and district Kohlu.

CM Jam Kamal chaired a meeting of Balochistan Technical Education (BTE) and Vocational Training Authority (VTA) in Quetta.

It is pertinent to mention that this is the third meeting held in this regard at the CM secretariat, implying how serious the provincial government is towards imparting education.

Additional chief secretary planning and development Balochistan Abdul Rehman Buzdar and board members of BTE and VTA attended the meeting.

Secretary labor and manpower Saira Atta briefed the meeting on different aspects of vocational training programs of BTE and VTA. The meeting thoroughly discussed the curriculum vitae of technical training centers and the certification process.

It was decided to bring necessary amendment in the act of BTA and VTA. It was decided that assets and human resources of the Technical Education Board will be handed over and transferred to BTA and VTA.
