At least four terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted by security forces in the central Makran range of Awaran district in Balochistan, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.

“Terrorist hideout including logistic base destroyed while [a] large cache of arms, ammunition and communication equipment recovered,” ISPR added.

The military’s media wing added that multiple hideouts and administrative camps of terrorists have also been destroyed.

On September 13, the Pakistan Army in a major breakthrough, eliminated terrorist commander Ihsan Ullah alias Ihsan Sanray along with his three accomplices in an IBO in a tribal area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P).

“Terrorist commander Ihsan Ullah alias Ihsan Sanray along with 3 other terrorists killed during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) today in Ghariom, Shaktu near the inter-district boundary of North and South Waziristan,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a tweet.

The military’s media wing had said Sanray was masterminded behind numerous terrorist activities.
